Ikkat

An Ikkat saree is a traditional Indian saree that is known for its unique and intricate dyeing technique. The term "Ikkat" refers to the method of resist dyeing the threads before weaving them into fabric, resulting in vibrant patterns and designs. The process is quite labor-intensive, as the yarn is dyed in such a way that the designs appear on both the warp (vertical threads) and the weft (horizontal threads), often creating geometric or abstract patterns
